Professor Dan Fick

Professor Daniel Fick began his career at Sir Charles Gairdner and Hollywood Private Hospitals after completing his Medical Degree at the University of Western Australia. He expanded his training into several sub-disciplines of orthopaedics including computer navigated trauma and joint replacements as well as arthroscopic procedures of the hip, shoulder and knee.
Research is an integral part of Daniel Fick’s practice. A list of his publications can be found at Daniel Fick is an adjunct Associate Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at Curtin University, Perth, and Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of North Texas.
He works in partnership with Professor Riaz Khan at The Joint Studio www.thejointstudio.com.au, and operates out of Hollywood Private Hospital, and St John of God Hospital Geraldton in private and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in the public sector.
In 2015 Professor Daniel Fick and Professor Riaz Khan established the Australian Institute of Robotic Orthopaedics www.airo.net.au with Associate Professor Brett Robertson.
